Internet cencorship has been the heart of the controversial debate that has been going around the world for some time. This prevailing notion of regulating the internet access has become a matter of great concerns.

What is Internet Censorship?

Internet censorship is basically restricting or controlling access to certain aspects or information. Internet regulation consists of censorship of data, and controlling aspects of the Internet such as domain registration, IP address control and more.

Although there exist, interminable cons of cencorship, however the converse is also beneficial for the society in multiple ways. Every government should tackle the cons in a constructive way, which is to make neccassary filters of the offensive data material and then make suitable regulations, keeping in mind the economical, national and civil drawbacks of their action.

The internet is the voice of the people. It belongs to everybody, and it is the responsibility of all of us to ensure that it remains free and open, and is not censored by any government. The secretive, closed nature of this meeting alone shows the attitude some countries have to the idea of freedom of information, and of free speech.
