This price was later proceeded for charity purposes. 2) Russian Space Shuttle! Back in 2002, the Soviets no longer wanted their very own 15'6" long BOR-5 prototype shuttle named as "Buran". For this purpose, they put this used shuttle on eBay and were able to receive the highest bid of $98,000! Back in 2009, an L.A widow put a burial plot for auction on eBay which at past was possession of his deceased husband, who was a businessman by profession, in order to pay some debts. This was no common plot as it was directly above Marilyn Monroe's plot in LA's West wood Village Cemetery, wherein Roy Orbison and Dean Martin also rest in peace. Hugh Hefner, founder of Playboy Magazine, also has his future burial site there as well next to Marilyn Monroe. 9) Kidney Stone! Famous actor of the "Star Trek" series, William Shatner, started experiencing an unbearable pain back in 2005. Which on further treatment was diagnosed as a kidney stone.
